A credit card is a convenient way of borrowing. You can use the card anytime and anywhere as an ordinary payment card, but pay with the money borrowed from the bank.

The credit card will be handy:

• if you are short of money for a bigger purchase or even everyday needs;
• if you have incidental expense while travelling abroad;
• if you have to pay in places where debit cards are not accepted, e. g. on board the plane, train or ship;
• if you want to pay by phone, rent a car, book a hotel or pay for your trip.

What do we offer to families?

Family payment cards

Acquire a payment card and you may order supplementary cards to the same payment card account with the limits determined by You. Supplementary payment card – is a perfect way to teach children how to administer finance since the determined limits will not allow you to spend more money than specified.

How it works:

• One payment card account – when you open a payment card account, you additionally connect your family members to the account. You may determine daily or monthly supplementary card’s limits and may change them any time if the supplementary card holder urgently needs funds. Limits are determined via electronic banking system Eta bankas or upon arriving to the bank’s unit.
• Personal payment cards numbers – each payment card holder receives a payment card with its name and unique card number. If one of the payment cards is lost or stolen only this card will be blocked meanwhile the others will work without interruptions.
• Detailed payment card statements – payment card manager sees transactions performed with all payment cards grouped according to the expenses and the supplementary cards holders – only statements of their own expenses.

Credit Limits

You will get at least the Minimum credit limit in your Ūkio bankas credit card account:

• LTL 800 / EUR 230 in MasterCard Standard/MasterCard Žalgiris/ Visa Classic card account;
• LTL 2,000 / EUR 580 in MasterCard Gold card account;
• EUR 1,000 / USD 1,300 in Visa Platinum card account.

Once approved for a specific credit limit, you will be entitled to borrow from the Bank up to the specified credit limit amount, any time you like, without bothering to sign any additional agreements. Credit limits provide you with a very convenient means of balancing your personal expenditure and income.

Revolving Credit

It is granted to MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Žalgiris, Visa Classic, MasterCard Gold and Visa Platinum cards issued by Ūkio bankas. With this type of credit, every month the client should pay only the interest and repay the portion of the credit as given below:

• 10 percent by MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Žalgiris, Visa Classic cardholders;
• 5 percent by MasterCard Gold, Visa Platinum cardholders;

This credit is called a revolving one for at the end of the month the Bank does not require to repay in full the amount of the credit used, but instead it allows to revolve the bulk of the credit balance to the next month, by repaying only the mandatory portion of the credit. You may still use the remaining portion of the credit limit. And once you repay the portion used, you will again be entitled to the entire credit limit granted. Alternatively, you may choose to repay a larger portion of the credit than required.

The interest is charged daily on the credit limit amount used. Upon complete reimbursement of the used credit limit, the interest will not accrue.

The credit is arranged in the currency of the card account.

Use your credit limit for card purchases, making payments from your card account or cash withdrawal.

Revolving interest-free credit

It is granted to MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Žalgiris, Visa Classic, MasterCard Gold and Visa Platinum cards.

When using this credit, the interest-free period of up to 45 days (up to 55 days with MasterCard Gold card, up to 60 days with Visa Platinum card) is applied for the credit portion used for purchase transactions, and every month the cardholders have to repay only the credit portion specified:

• 10 percent – MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Žalgiris, Visa Classic cardholders;
• 5 percent – MasterCard Gold, Visa Platinum cardholders.

Installment Credit

This type of credit limit is granted to Ūkio banko lizingas MasterCard card holders. You are free to choose the amount of installments inclusive of credit repayment portion and interest, in which case you will make flat-sized monthly payments to the account indicated in the cardholder agreement. If you wish, you can then use the repaid portion of the credit again.

The credit may be granted only in LTL.

How to amend the conditions of your credit limit?

Credit interest rates and credit limit fees set at the time you signed the agreement are valid until the expiry date of your card, i.e. the Bank does not automatically apply the revised fees to cards issued prior to the coming into effect of such newly revised rates.
