Cash counting
Cash counting is performed irrespective of subsequent transactions. Our teller will count your hard cash and tell the exact cash amount. If the amount counted is not in excess of the amount set by the Bank this service is free of charge.
Exchange of coins
You may exchange LTL bank notes to coins and coins to notes in any Ūkio bankas branch or Customer Service Unit. This service is subject to a fee. Foreign currency coins are not exchanged into notes and vice versa.
We also exchange big denomination coins and bank notes into smaller denomination and small denomination coins and bank notes into bigger denomination money. Both LTL and foreign currency notes are exchanged. Foreign currency coins are not exchanged.
Redeeming damaged bank notes
Worn and torn or damaged bank notes are redeemed free of charge. Redemption of worn and torn foreign currency bank notes is subject to a fee.
Damaged LTL notes are exchanged in cases provided for in the rules of the Bank of Lithuania. Damaged foreign currency bank notes may be exchanged or not after the Bank examines the extent of damage.
