Local money transfers
Local money transfer is payment of money from your account with Ūkio bankas to a payee's account with Ūkio bankas or any other bank registered in Lithuania.
You have no time lining at the bank's tellers or cannot come to the bank during banking hours? You may transfer money and pay the bills via Eta bankas – quickly, conveniently and without leaving your office or home.
-
How to make a local money transfer?
-
You may transfer the money:
Local money transfer is performed against the filled in and submitted Payment Instruction. There are two forms of payment instructions:
-
Simple (.pdf) – it is the most often used form containing only mandatory particulars;
-
Complete (.pdf) – this form contains supplementary fields and provides the payee with more information (is filled in if you want to give the initial payer's and last payee's particulars).
-
How to cancel the local money transfer?
-
Transfer cancelling via Eta bankas:
-
You may cancel the transfer yourself until you have not signed it. Select: "Operations"→ "Payment status" in Eta bankas main menu.
-
After the transfer instruction is signed by TAN code, the transfer is routed for executing. To cancel the transfer fill in a template "Request to cancel the transfer" in the main menu "Messages" → "New message".
You may also cancel your transfer by filling in and submitting a special application in a Branch or Client Service Unit.
If the money has been transferred to the payee, it will be returned only upon the payee's consent. Transfer cancellation is subject to a fee stated in Ūkio bankas pricelist.
Periodic payments are money orders wired by the bank on a regular basis pursuant to the terms and conditions agreed upon with the client. It is the best method of settlement with service providers who shall receive constant amounts at fixed intervals, e. g. pension funds, securities accounts, insurance, lease or other services.
