Regarding insurance payouts to the companies former depositors of the bank Snoras

Since Ūkio bankas was selected by the State Enterprise Indėlių ir Investicijų draudimas  to  disburse insurance payouts to the companies former depositors of the bank Snoras in Kaunas district, Ūkio bankas requests the representatives of the companies to apply to the bank right now. Applications on insurance payouts are accepted at all client servicing units of the bank.

In the short term, State Enterprise Indėlių ir Investicijų draudimas will announce exact procedure of payouts. The insurance payouts should reach the beneficiaries not later than within 30 working days after payout procedure announcement. To ensure expeditious and efficient payout of funds to the legal persons after the announcement of procedure, we encourage the managers of the companies or their representatives to apply to the nearest AB Ūkio bankas unit right now to open a bank account and fill in Application on deposits insurance payout transfer to the bank account with AB Ūkio bankas. Documents are required to open a bank account.

Companies that are clients of Ūkio bankas may submit their applications via electronic banking system Eta bankas.

Special telephone number for former Snoras bank clients is working at Ūkio bankas: persons, who want to have a consultation related to insurance payouts may call 8 (37) 787 655 in Kaunas. Companies are requested to register by e-mail: draudimoismokos@ub.lt. Employees of Ūkio bankas will contact with the companies that have registered.

Special fees will be applied to the corporate clients who will open a new account with Ūkio bankas: free of charge local and international transfers and cash desk transactions for 2 months and 50 per cent discount for 10 months. Company’s account will be opened and serviced free of charge, additionally, free of charge payment card Maestro Business/Visa Business Electron and internet banking service Eta bankas will be provided.

Free of charge salaries transfer to the employees’ payment card account, free of charge selected debit payment card: Maestro, Visa Electron or Maestro Žalgiris to all company’s employees and other benefits are proposed to the companies that will conclude salaries transfer agreement.

Presently, it is very important for the companies to acquire funds for the support of their operation stability. In this case, relevant services to the businesses provided by Ūkio bankas are: state-supported loans, overdrafts, credit line and others.

When will insurance payout to Kaunas region companies be started?

Money will be paid out to the clients when the State Enterprise „Indėlių ir investicijų draudimas“ will transfer funds to AB Ūkio bankas. State enterprise “Indėlių ir Investicijų draudimas” estimates that a possibility to dispose funds will be provided until the end of 2011.

What is the time limit for a company to apply to AB Ūkio bankas regarding insurance payout?

According to the Law on Deposits and Liabilities to the Investors, the right of a depositor to receive insurance payout is effective 5 years from the day of the insured event.

What is the procedure of insurance payout to Kaunas region companies?

Ūkio bankas will pay out insurance payouts to the companies, that had funds with the bank Snoras on the basis of company’s application according to the format set by the bank.

How to submit an application on payout for insurance payout at AB Ūkio bankas?

• If your company already is AB Ūkio bankas client:

Companies, that are Ūkio bankas clients, may submit their applications via electronic banking system Eta bankas or at the nearest AB Ūkio bankas unit.

• If your company is not AB Ūkio bankas client:

Application for insurance payout may be submitted at all AB Ūkio bankas units. Companies, that have a bank account with AB Ūkio bankas will receive insurance payouts faster, thus, companies that do not have an account with AB Ūkio bankas yet are recommended to open them until the begging of the payout.

When the application for payout may be submitted?

Applications may be submitted right now via electronic banking system Eta bankas or upon arriving to the nearest AB Ūkio bankas unit.

What documents have to be submitted by the company?

• If your company is AB Ūkio bankas client and uses electronic banking Eta bankas, application may be submitted via Eta bankas,  selecting item on the menu Messages-New Message-Application on Insurance Payout. Company, that does  not use by Eta bankas may submit filled application form of the set format at any unit of the bank. Application may be signed by a representative of a company who has the signature right.
• If your company is not AB Ūkio bankas client, you have to submit:

► application on insurance payout signed by the company’s manager or its representative;

► extended extract from Legal Entity Register issued and certified not earlier than 3 months until the day of application submit;

► personal identification document – passport, personal identification card issued not earlier than 2003;

► manager’s of legal entity power of attorney certified by a notary if not a manger of a legal entity applies.
