What are the first steps to start investment?;
In order to start investing in financial instruments you have to enter into an Agreement on the Provision of Investment Services with Ūkio bankas. You can sign the Agreement at all branches and Client Service Units (CSU) of Ūkio bankas except:

Vilnius Branch Pylimas CSU (Pylimo g. 41, Vilnius).
Upon coming to sign the agreement, bring along your personal identity document. The agreement may be signed by your proxy whose authorisation should be duly verified by the notary public (you will be asked to show the power of attorney).
After signing the Agreement on the Provision of Investment Services the following accounts will be opened for you:

financial instruments account for accounting your financial instruments;

monetary account for settling financial instruments transactions.
If you are wishing to start investing financial instruments online via Ūkio bankas system of trade in financial instruments, apart from the Agreement on the Provision of Investment Services, you will have to enter into an Agreement on the Provision of Internet Services.
How to submit orders to buy or sell financial instruments?

You can submit orders to buy or sell financial instruments if you have a sufficient balance of funds (for buying) or financial instruments (for selling) in your account.

You may instruct a broker in person, through your proxy or use other agreed methods of giving order.

The order to sell financial instruments of joint community property may be presented only together with your spouse, unless you hold a power of attorney signed by your spouse.

The accepted order is entered into the system for processing. You will receive further information about the execution of your order.
