Credit Cards

These are prestigious global payment cards issued to persons authorised by a company, which ensure quality service in a number of places worldwide and grant additional guarantees to travellers. The credit card offers you to conveniently use a credit – you can use it anytime and anywhere as an ordinary payment card as you will simply pay with the money borrowed from bank.

Credit card will be useful for you:

• if you have unexpected expenses during a business trip abroad;
• if you have to pay in places where debit cards are not accepted, e. g. on board the plane, train or ship – where a direct connection with the bank is absent;
• if you want to pay by phone, rent a car, book a hotel or pay for your trip.

Credit Limits

Upon acquiring Ūkio bankas business credit payment card, your company will be granted a credit limit no smaller than the Minimum one:

• LTL 2,000 / EUR 580 EUR – in MasterCard Business card account;
• LTL 4,000 / EUR 1,150 – in Visa Business Gold card account.

In other words, with a credit limit in your card account you will be able to borrow up to this amount at any time without any supplementary agreements. Credit limit in the card account is very convenient – it is an indispensable tool for balancing personal expense and income.

What types of credit are available?

Revolving credit

• It is granted in MasterCard Business card account. Upon selecting this type of credit, interest and 10 percent of the credit used shall be paid off to the bank monthly. This credit is called a revolving credit because at the end of the month the bank does not require to repay the amount of credit used in full: having paid off the pre-established amount to the bank you may continue using the remaining credit and after the full balance is paid off you can use the entire credit limit again. You may pay off bigger amounts than required.
• Interest is charged for each day on the borrowed amount. Calculation of interest stops when the balance is paid in full.
• Credit is granted only in the currency of your card account handling.
• Credit limit may be used for making payments by card, transferring money from the card account and withdrawing cash.

Standard credit with a 60-day payment delay

• It is granted in Visa Business Gold card account. The credit used must be fully repaid together with accrued interest within 60 days from debt accrual date. For instance, upon using the credit in January, you will have to repay it by the end of March. Upon repaying the used portion you will be again entitled to the entire credit limit.
• Interest is charged for each day on the borrowed credit limit amount. Calculation of interest stops when the balance is paid in full.
• Credit is granted only in the currency of your card account handling.
• Credit limit may be used for making payments by card, transferring money from the card account and withdrawing cash.
